YES! This is very much a collaborative process. Clients are solely responsible for their medical treatment and following through with doctor's orders. Clients have a duty to communicate with us and let us know of any life changes - new address, telephone number, etc. We also need our clients to help get us information that will prove and support their case such as documentation that proves lost earnings. We're here to help, but without the cooperation and support of our clients, we can't get the best outcomes for our clients.

YES, absolutely. Many of our clients don't have health insurance and don't have a regular medical doctor to see. We can help connect clients to a wide variety of medical professions all throughout Southern California that will give you access to medical care where you wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it.

As a courtesy to our clients, we always assist in property damage claims. We will help get your vehicle into an autobody shop, assist with getting an estimate done, help get you into a rental car if available and make sure that the insurance company pays you out fairly for any total loss of a vehicle. We don't take any fees for handling this for our clients. Every penny recovered goes directly to you or the autobody shop for the replacement or repair of your vehicle.

There is a good chance that your claim could be resolved before a lawsuit is even filed. If a settlement cannot be reached, your attorney will begin the process of filing a lawsuit. Once the filing is complete, a judge in your district will set a deadline for each phase of the lawsuit. The personal injury claims process starts by opening a claim with the insurance company - usually we do this with all of the insurance companies involved, even our own clients'. The claim stays open while the client is treated for their injuries. At GBG we handle all of the communications with the insurance companies during this time, so the client doesn't have to be bothered with phone calls and low ball offers from insurance companies. Once our clients are done treating or are as good as they are going to get, we send in a Demand to the insurance company. If the insurance company values our clients' claims fairly, we are able to resolve the claim and the claim is settled and closed. If not, then we will file a lawsuit on our clients' behalf, taking the claim into court.

If you are partially at fault for an auto accident you can still recover from the other at fault party. Your compensation or recovery will be reduced by the percentage you were at fault. In California even if you are 99% at fault for a collision, you may still be able to recover for the 1% the other person was at-fault!
